PLASPEROX K – 8 i.e. Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide is a clear oily liquid used principally as a polymerization catalyst for unsaturated polyester resin type systems The product has uniformity and minimum loss of reactivity in storage.

Applications: The addition of 0.1% to 0.5% cobalt naphthanate or octoate (6% solution) to unsaturated polyester resin followed by the addition of 1 – 2% PLASPEROX K – 8 results in a cure at room temperature.

Caution: Do not mix COBALT directly with peroxide as it will decompose violently. First disperse Cobalt in Resin and then with PLASPEROX K – 8.
